About Me

What I eat comes from the Earth (vegetarian), and I’m on a worldwide adventure to explore sustainable farming practices and cultural food trends.

Currently I’m in Austin, TX, and the last thing I ate was a grilled melon, arugula and heirloom tomato salad. All ingredients fresh from the Barton Springs Farmers Market.

Currently I’m in Costa Rica, working on an organic, bio-diverse farm. The last thing I ate was a “queque zanahoria” (carrot cake).

Currently I’m in Austin, TX, working on a freelance project. The last thing I ate was a portobello-beet burger.

Currently I’m in on the coast in Zipolite, Oaxaca, swimming nude in the sea by day and stargazing/meditating on the top of a cliff by night. This morning I had fresh papaya and bananas drowning in yogurt, honey and granola.

Currently I’m in on the shores of Lago Atitlan, Guatemala, a lake surrounded by three volcanoes where the sky, the wind and water blend together dreamy shades of blues and grays. The last thing I ate was a beverage rather than a food, which is often the case on a hot, hot day where an agua de chilacayote, a juice made from squash and sweetened with cinnamon, sugar and honey, is the perfect refresca.

  1. Mom says:

The last thing I ate was “hummingbird soup”. It’s variation of chili that Dad makes and it is yummy.
